Anleitung – VIACORE®
Einsatzgebiete:
Typische Anwendungsgebiete sind neben der klassischen Schlaglochreparatur, der dauerhafte Künettenverschluss nach Aufgrabungsarbeiten, Anrampungen, Anrampungen von Stufen, Ausgleich von Unebenheiten, Kanalschachtsanierungen, auch die Herstellung von Asphaltflächen und vieles mehr.
Besonders eignet sich die Anwendung im Bereich Tunnel, Brückenbeläge, Asphalte in Parkhäuser, Verkehrsflächen mit vorzeitiger Verkehrsfreigabe und Asphalt in Innenräumen.
Eigenschaften:
- Ein besonderer Vorteil von Viacore Asphalt besteht in der perfekten Verarbeitbarkeit. Der CE-konforme Asphalt kann erstmals mit einer Mischguttemperatur von 0° C – 40° C und bei Umgebungstemperatur (auch bei kühlen Temperaturen) verarbeitet werden.
- Erstmalig in Europa handelt es sich um einen tatsächlich temperaturabgesenkten Asphalt, der auch in der kalten Jahreszeit eingebaut und verdichtet werden kann. Im Sommer ist durch diese Eigenschaft eine raschere Verkehrsfreigabe möglich.
- Zu den weiteren Vorteilen des Viacore-Asphalts von Vialit zählen u.a. hohe Verformungsstabilität bei großer Hitze, exzellente Tieftemperaturbeständigkeit, geringer Hohlraumgehalt und dadurch ausgezeichnete Dauerhaftigkeit.
- Durch die absolute Lösemittelfreiheit (0,0 %) und damit den Verzicht von umweltschädlichen Substanzen handelt es sich um ein „grünes Produkt“.
- Auf Grund der Verwendung von nachwachsenden Rohstoffen und der niedrigen Herstellungs-Temperatur, sowie einen geringen MAK-Wert beim Einbau, weist Viacore einen geringen CO2 Footprint im Vergleich zu anderen Asphalten auf.
Bei der Verarbeitung zu beachten:
- Das Mischgut kann bei Temperaturen von unter 100 °C, vorzugsweise bei 60 °C gemischt werden.
Die Einbautemperatur liegt zwischen 0 °C und ca. 50 °C. - Die Unterlage und Anschlüsse müssen vor der Verarbeitung sauber gereinigt werden.
- Haftbrücke herstellen – z. B. mit Reaktiv Primer oder einer Bitumenemulsion C 40 bzw. C 60
- Anschlüsse vorbehandeln
- Je nach Schichtdicke entsprechend überhöht einbauen.
- Einhaltung der min. und max. Schichtdicke je Einbaulage
- Verdichtung mit geeignetem Gerät (Walze oder Rüttelplatte)
Materialbedarf:
Ca. 25 kg/m² bei 1 cm Schichtstärke.
Reinigung:
Verarbeitungsgeräte können mit Biodiesel oder Rapsöl gereinigt werden.
Lagerung:
Begrenzt lagerfähig. Kühl und trocken – nicht im Freien und nicht unter direkter Sonneneinstrahlung – lagern!
Beschädigte Verpackung oder Überlagerung führt zu langsamem Aushärten durch Luftfeuchtigkeit.
Diese Gebinde möglichst sofort verarbeiten.

Die Ausstellung der CE-Konformität erfolgt für den Viacore Asphalt nach der EN 13108 – Teil 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 „Asphaltmischgut – Mischgutanforderungen“. Die EN 13108 wurde vom Technischen Komitee CEN/TC 227 „Straßenbaustoffe“ erarbeitet. Das Hauptziel des CEN/TC 227 besteht darin, Asphaltbeton in bezug auf seine grundsätzlichen leistungsbasierten Eigenschaften festzulegen. Die Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Asphalte fest, die beim Bau von Straßen, Flugplätzen und sonstigen Verkehrsflächen zum Einsatz kommen.

Areas of application:
Typical areas of application include classic pothole repair, permanent closing of trenches following excavation work, step ramping, levelling of uneven areas, manhole rehabilitation as well as the creation of asphalt surfaces and much more.
This product is particularly suitable for use in tunnels, on bridge surfaces, for asphalts in multi-storey car parks and public thoroughfares – where the asphalted areas may be quickly opened to traffic – as well as indoor asphalting.
Properties:
- One special benefit that is associated with Viacore asphalt is its perfect workability. CE-compliant asphalt can for the first time be processed at asphalt mixture temperature of 0°C – 40°C and at ambient temperatures (even at cool temperatures).
- This is Europe’s first lower-temperature asphalt that may be worked and compacted even in the cold season. It’s a feature that in summer also allows roads to be opened to traffic more quickly.
- The other benefits that Vialit’s Viacore asphalt delivers include high deformation stability at high temperatures, excellent low-temperature resistance, low void content and thus excellent durability.
- Viacore is a ‘green product’ because it contains absolutely no solvents (0.0 %) and therefore does not contain any substances that may be harmful to the environment.
- Viacore has a low CO2 footprint in relation to other asphalts because it is manufactured with renewable raw materials and low production temperatures and presents low MAC values during paving.
To be observed during processing:
- The compound can be mixed at temperatures below 100 °C, preferably at 60 °C.
The installation temperature is between 0 °C and approx. 50 °C. - Clean the substratum and joints throughly
- Create a bonding course – e.g. with reactive primer or a bitumen emulsion C 40 or C 60
- Pre-treat joints
- Install with a corresponding super-elevation depending on the lyer thickness
- Observe the min. and max. course thickness for each installed layer
- Compoact with suitable equipment (roller or plate compactor)
Consumption:
Appr. 25 kg/m² at 1 cm layer thickness.
Cleaning:
Processing devices can be cleaned with biodiesel or rapeseed oil.
Storage:
Limited shelf life. Store in a cool and dry place – not outdoors and not under direct sunlight!
Damaged packaging or overstorage leads to slow curing due to humidity.
Process these containers immediately if possible.

CE conformity for Viacore asphalt has been awarded in accordance with EN 13108 – Parts 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 ‘Asphalt mix – mix requirements’. EN 13108 was developed by the CEN/TC 227 Technical Committee for ‘Road Construction Materials’. The CEN/TC 227 committee’s main objective is to define asphalt concrete in terms of its basic performance-based properties. The European standard specifies the requirements for asphalt that is used in the construction of roads, airports and other traffic areas.
