REPLAST® is a reactive, two-component binder for precast seams in asphalt road construction.
REPLAST® can be applied a few hours to several days before the installation of hot asphalt. The installation thickness can be individually adjusted.
Application Areas:
- Especially for seam connections that occur when asphalt mix is laid in strips or during longer work interruptions.
- Milling and cutting edges
- Connections hot to cold
Requirements:
The surface must be free of contaminants and loose particles. It may be damp but not wet.
The substrate temperature must be at least +5°C.
Application:
- The milled or freshly created asphalt edge must be cleaned before the application of REPLAST®.
- The REPLASTER applies a reactive binder that cures within 5 – 15 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
- Once installed, REPLAST® can be easily rolled over without any issues.
Consumption:
0.1 kg per linear meter per 1 cm edge height
Daily Performance:
Up to 4,000 linear meters per day, depending on asphalt layer thickness
